I just got home from a trip to northern sweden. A 130 kilometer hike gave lots of opportunities to photograph the species belonging in this beautiful landscape, for example the Long Tailed Skua, the Snowy Owl and the Arctic fox. I were blessed to find the Snowy Owl, and even more so when I saw five more! It was a pair with their four juveniles.

This picture is actually quite funny. From left to right. A juvenile snowy owl flying away, a mountain hare running towards the snowy owl, another snowy owl taking it chill, and a wolverine hunting the hare (in front of the rock).
